Required Competence level
Electrical Engineer or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum 2 years’ experience in a switchgear industry preferably – Project Management work group. Familiarity with Principal Partners Solution and products in Switchgear preferred, Good communication Skills, Team work capability with cooperative with all concern dept. having thorough knowledge of International Standards, Utility board’s requirements and consultant specifications, Knowledge on design tools , Control Logics ,Auto cad
Job Description
Responsibilities and duties include:
Lead team of draughtsman in the Project Engineering Management
Involved during contract review, Assign work to team
Assess work involved and provide feedback to supervisors on resources and time required
Preparation of various stages of design from concept through to detailed submissions
Study of the customer requirements, specifications, documents, drawings etc.
Assist team to Prepare technical proposal comprising of material list, drawings, deviation list, compliance statement, documentation and seek approval from supervisor
Assist sales in the negotiation/ clarification process with the customer assist sales / Project Management in their functions as required
Keep the superiors informed about progress and early warning on anticipated / occurring problems at regular intervals
Prepare design submittals in requisite copies
Track changes and update documents with revision numbers
Post order -submission of engineering documents to the customer
Check or raise purchase requisitions in line with requirements with all necessary information and issue them after approvals or NTP issue Work order with all necessary documents required to production in a timely manner after seeking approvals or NTP close NCAR s raised by the principals / production pertaining to areas of work
Update / maintain all documentation-external and internal – AutoCAD & Elec desk and other engineer tool experience. E-base/E-Plan will be an added advantage
