Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) are employed in Indoor Transmission Substations and constitute switching devices and Instrument Transformers inside air tight chambers filled with inert gas to achieve the desired dielectric strength in a compact manner.
The Controls of such devices are provided in Panels positioned as close as possible to the GIS. The LCC work in a decentralized strategy with each bay provided with a dedicated Panel. These Panels comprise of the conventional control, measuring and monitoring components with interlocks between the switching devices and also the Bay Control unit (part of the Substation Control & Monitoring System –SCMS) thus allowing back up for ensuring Power flow in a proficient manner.
We take pride in having designed the intricate schemes, manufactured several LCC, devised and created conventional and Programmable Simulator to replicate the GIS for performing tests and checks prior to delivery from our works.
